We had a great experience dining at Jack Astor’s on Front Street! The food was delicious across the board—flavorful, fresh, and served hot. But what really stood out was the exceptional service we received from our server, Jack. He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and quick without ever making us feel rushed. He read the room perfectly, striking that perfect balance between checking in and giving us space to enjoy our meal. Jack really elevated the whole experience with his warm and professional demeanor. We’ll definitely be back!

Decked out in hundreds of CANADIAN FLAGS hanging from the ceiling! Hockey game and baseball games on the big screens - which you can see from every seat in the house! Positive environment buzzing with pre concert vibes! Easy out of Union Station to walk to only minutes to get back to the trains... The staff was on point! reasonable pricing and fantastic food!!! My favorite Jack Astor's location in Toronto!

I went to have dinner here on my last night. I don’t know her name but the service was impeccable and not only for my table but everyone I watched her serve. She was efficient, friendly, and always busy. The pan bread was really good. My only dislike was I wanted to watch the Caps playoff game and the streamers were too much plus the tv I was viewing was changed to basketball without warning. Minor detail and minor inconvenience but when in Toronto I would return.

Jacks were my favourite bars while in Toronto. This branch in particular was excellent. The food was tasty with fresh ingredients and good portions. I came back the same night for drinks the bar tender Emily was really friendly and welcoming.

My partner and I came here for dinner and had an absolutely amazing experience! We enjoyed the fun ambiance/atmosphere along with the many decorations with a server who made us feel very welcomed! The food itself was also extremely delicious and everything, all around, was very well made! Although we are from out-of-country, we would love to come back in the future!

Came here primarily to watch the Maple Leafs game but was pleasantly surprised by the amazing food quality. Great atmosphere with plenty of sports TVs and Canadian themes throughout. They did play curling on the TV instead of the live hockey game but delicious food either way so we're happy!

Great food, chill vibes, and amazing service Came here on a weekday evening with some colleagues, and it was a great experience. There were plenty of open seats, but the place still had a nice buzz; music playing, people chatting, and an overall relaxed atmosphere. Our waiter was fantastic. Attentive, efficient, and super friendly. He checked in on us frequently without being overbearing and even cracked some jokes, which made the experience even better. We ordered some entrees, mains, and drinks, and everything was great. The drinks were solid, and he had good taste in recommending a bottle. For my meal, I had the Miso Glazed Salmon Bowl. Perfectly grilled salmon, fresh ingredients, and a great mix of flavors. Loved the miso dressing, and the turmeric cauliflower added a nice touch. Would definitely recommend this spot for a casual night out with good food, drinks, and a laid-back atmosphere!
